About me

Hi, my name is Robbin - the creative force behind Add Pepper.

Food has always been part of my world. What started as a fascination with cooking, tasting and experimenting naturally evolved into food styling when combined with my love for photography and composition.

In 2020, I founded my own studio. Since then, I’ve been building immersive visual worlds, from sculptural table environments to striking food compositions, helping brands, creatives and private clients translate ideas into refined, high-impact imagery and experiences.

I think in concepts, not just visuals. From the first idea to the final detail, I approach every project with precision and bold intent, shaping atmospheres that feel layered, intentional and alive.

Outside the studio, I’m fueled by sunshine, movement and nature. I’m happiest outdoors, surrounded by flowers or chasing light. And yes, after years as a barista, I can still pour a perfect rosetta into your cappuccino.

What I do

I create immersive visual worlds where precision meets bold excess. From striking food compositions to sculptural table environments designed to leave a lasting impression.

Whether it’s a juicy burger, a delicate plated dish or a fully styled dining experience, I make sure every element feels intentional and impossible to ignore. With an obsessive eye for detail, I compose images and environments where texture, color and light work together seamlessly.

As a food stylist, I approach food as material. Sculpting, layering and refining each component to translate flavor and concept into powerful visual statements. From campaigns and social content to cookbooks, advertising and packaging, I ensure every detail holds up, from perfectly glossed sauces to that one crumb placed exactly right. Prop and set styling are always part of the bigger picture: the right plate, the right surface, the right tension in composition.

I also specialize in drinks styling. Hyper-real condensation that lasts, crystal-clear non-melting ice, cocktails that keep their sparkle, crafted to look effortless, yet built with precision.

Alongside food styling, I design sculptural tablescapes and event settings that transform gatherings into immersive experiences. Layered compositions. Thoughtful color palettes. Bold materials. Floral elements that feel architectural rather than decorative. Every setting is built to feel refined yet alive. Luxurious without ever feeling forced.

With a background in food and set styling, I view every project through the lens of a visual director. How does the light move? How do textures interact? How does a space feel both in real life and on camera? I combine aesthetic precision with atmosphere, creating work that is not only visually striking, but experientially strong.

From intimate dinners to high-end events, from editorial productions to commercial campaigns, I translate concepts into cohesive visual worlds. Layered, intentional and designed to linger.
